Why are my boobs hurting?

Have had this for a couple of days now. Tender boobs, especially the left one and especially the nipple, but whole boob feels sort of warm and lumpy... a bit mastitis-y IYKWIM - except that the last time I bf was 6 years ago. It's not painful enough to really worry me, just annoying... Any ideas? Or is it just 'one of those things'?

Neither of the above, no. Not about to come on (unless my cycle has gone seriously up the spout... OMG...not the menopause ???) and extremely unlikely to be pg (have not had unprotected sex - though 'only' use condoms - and probably only once since last period... would be under 4 weeks if so... so pretty sure it can't be that). Sorry, should've eliminated those two in OP!

Also they are glands so maybe your comming down with something, like a cold?

Aaah... interesting Marne. Hadn't noticed that before, but it's 'Freshers' Flu' season round here, so maybe I'm about to succumb... Good (if not exactly welcome) theory!
