Would anyone be kind enough to support a breast cancer charity? anorak is doing a fun walk on Wednesday.

I am doing the BF&M Breast Cancer Fun Walk in Bermuda on Weds 8th October.

Many of my mumsnet friends will know that I spent most of this year undergoing breast cancer treatment myself. I had a mastectomy and five months chemotherapy.

But I was lucky - I am still here and in the fortunate position of being well again and able to try and put something back for the next person.

I would be very grateful for any donations to my chosen charity, Breast Cancer Campaign. I have set up a justgiving page here

DH and I did the walk, it was a perfect evening for walking, dry and not too hot, there were hundreds of people all over town wearing the same shirts, all joining in the walk.

There was an option to do 3K or 5K, we managed the 5K walk, which I was really pleased about with my dodgy ankle.

I've received 255 pounds worth of donations for my charity. The page will remain open for 6 months.
