breast reduction stories PLEASE !!!!

I'm sure this subject has been done to death.

But I would love to hear any experiences or advise.

I am booked in Jan 30 and wondering about everything from befor surgery, during and after.
I want to hear real experiences, good and bad.
I am a F going down to about a DD.
I have been on the waiting list for 2 years and that was when I had my last appointment.

Any feed back would be greatly apprisiated.

Haven't had this done myself, but a friend had a breast reduction at age 27 and again at 35. They do grow back.

She never had children so probably doesn't MN.

I am a G or GG myself and can't understand why you would want this done. Even with the best outcome you are going to be in pain and have scars. And what about breastfeeding if you have another baby? Not all babies are planned.

I worked with someone who had it done and the recovery was a lot longer and harder than she had expected/been led to believe. She was also unprepared for the psychological effects of the scarring.

She left the work not long after she'd come back so she could well have been happy with it long term for all I know.

just wanted to answer this thread to assure you there are good outcomes as well, I think you just have to be fully informed about every aspect of before and after and be realistic in what the outcome may be. Im having a reduction hopefully, consultant app. tomorrow. My friend had it done and went from a ff to a full c. she needed 8 week off work and found the first two week difficult with movement and pain. Apparently removal of the drains is v.painful. Her scars arent too bad but she never regretted it through everything she says it was definitely the right thing for her. There are plenty on here with good stories. hopefully they will give you advice.
