at least I think that's what it is. had a marathon chopping peeling fruit squeezing and other stuff session on friday. felt a few twinges in my wrist, now swollen and red and very painful. I can't use the kitchen tongs or cut using scissors or open bottles - anything involving a pincer-like grip. any ideas how long it will last? and if it's ok to spend all day tomorrow typing? typing isn't impossible like the things above but I have a feeling it can't be a very good idea.

Your thread title really got me wondering!
swollen and red sounds like you've really gone for it in a big way! If you are ok with ibuprofen I'd def take a dose right away - and rest it!!!

well it's a bit better today. I put an ice pack on it last night and took some strong anti-inflammatories. it's certainly gone down but still painful, and I expect it to get worse as the day goes on and I keep typing...
