Is there a difference , recovery wise, form having a sterilisation or a partial hysterectomy ?

I was just wondering, if anyone had any advice.

I am 33 wks pg, due to have a cs at 38, if not before. Am due to see head of obs next week. Have already spoken to MW about a sterilisation, and they seemed o.k. about it.

And then my mum said, well seeing as you have had, pre cancerous cells and lasering, at colposcopy clinic, not once, not twice, but three times - apparently this is very unusual ( to have to have them lasered more thna once), it might not be such a bad idea to consider a partial hysterectomy. Then , your womb would be taken away, and you would never have to worry about it again.

Just a thought she said. Something for you to think about. Something for you to talk to head of obs about.

So , any advice ?
