Gingerbear · 26/09/2008 01:14

I had a swollen hand/wrist once - a cat bite became infected. Antibiotics sorted it out. Doc asked me if I was a fish filleter (?!?, erm, no..).
Was in Grimsby at the time and many folk got this weird infection from knicks and cuts working with fish (bones and knives)

KatyMac · 26/09/2008 01:23

No fish
Cat well behaved

I think virus which mean GP will say - go away

don't google. You become hypocondriac.
At least doc will put your mind at rest.
If not bring out a big stun gun and order a cart.

KatyMac · 26/09/2008 01:27

I told the Dr I was a hypochondriac about 2 ys ago her said 'But Katymac, you have everything you think you have.....I have never met anyone who catches stuff like you' - but at least I knew there was one thing I didn't have

ROFL.
Go get honey and hot lemon, a snugly blanket and try and get some sleep.

(I sound like my mother...)

KatyMac · 26/09/2008 01:30

Sorry that was 20yrs ago not 2....mind you I was later diagnosed with ME - I actually wonder how long I had, had it when it was diagnosed

I have 5 tests for glandular fever in 3 yrs all negative

Gingerbear · 26/09/2008 01:35

Oh, sorry, not laughing now, just funny that your GP agreed with you about hypochondria.
ME dreadful. My best mate at uni had it after glandular fever and had to retake a year. Took years for her to recover.

Gingerbear · 26/09/2008 01:35

Go to bed woman!

KatyMac · 26/09/2008 01:38

I'll try

I just can't catch it
