My beloved aunt has just been diagnosed with Non Hodgkin's lymphoma and starts chemo on Monday. I live a long way away and have a young family, so can't do anything practical to help. I want to send her something to show that we are thinking about her. Is there anything you know of that makes the misery of chemo slightly more bearable?

I don't know whether she would be a head-scarf type person (under the circumstances) - but if she would, a scarf that you and particularly young family could decorate (fabric paints) would be something very useful.

Other than that, good book (not too heavy) and a handmade (by dc's) card.

Thanks, MT. They're really good suggestions

My Mum found Queasy pops helpful when she was feeling sick.

Thanks, dusty. Am having a look at those now.
