yuk jelly like substance in my pants, what the hell is it?

For the past week or so I've noticed a jelly like sustance coming out of my fanjo- actually its more a case of I go to take my knickers off when I'm getting undressed and a load of jelly is pulled out at the same time (sorry for the graphic detail). It doesnt smell, isnt an infection so what can it be? Stopped taking the pill a couple of weeks ago so dont know its related. Maybe its normal to have this sort of discharge? (I've been taking the pill for almost 15 years so kind of lost the plot on whats normal and what isnt with regard to periods etc

I ask because I sometimes get something similar too, and I wonder if sex around my most fertile time makes for not just stringy discharge but also 'jelly stuff'.

maybe it is the way the semen reacts???

or I am just making it all up to make myself feel better and something is very very wrong

If it means I'm fertile I've obviously got my dates wrong as did the deed on Monday thinking I was ovulating then... if it means I'm fertile and I had sex 4 days ago does it mean I've got a chance of conceiving? DH away for weekend, typical!

I think you get it a day or two before ovulating and on day of ovulation (roughly). I think sperm can live for up to 5 days theoretically can't it?

You don't get it when you're on the pill, cos your body thinks its pregnant, so no need for 'sperm friendly' egg white!

fertile time

I've been having the exact same... I've been on the pill for about 2 months but bought me out in loads of spots and didn't feel comfortable taking it. My periods were regular and now i don't have a clue when I'm supposed to be on -_- Before I started taking the pill i had trouble ovulating and didn't feel as wet as i do now I've stopped taking the pill, today I've had constant jelly type substance in my pants and it strings out of me (sorry for detail) don't know if I'm ovulating or it's something else?
