How long after developing breasts did your periods start?

For me breasts started at 10 and periods at 13. I was wondering whether mine were delayed due to be active at a sport, or whether this was normal...

you remember????

god, I think I had 'grapes' as one of my classmates kindly called them around 11 and started periods a year or two after that.

I am useless at remembering stuff about growing up

I think I remember because I still remember where I was when I thought the breast buds were cancer!

I think it was the other way round for me..

Periods started first few weeks of 2nd year,

My periods were first - I was nine.

Can't remember when my breasts started to develop but I'd started wearing a bra by the time I started secondary school, so probably 11 or so.

Periods at 13 and boobs? Well I'm 40 and I'm still waiting!

I had all the secondary signs for years before my periods started (at 14). I remember thinking that there must be something wrong with me and actually asked my Mum to take me to the doctor (she refused). Twas all OK in the end though. It took a long time for everything to finish too, and I was still growing (height and norks) for my first year at Uni (19).

i hated being the first to get my period and was really embarased by it.
