Not me, but my father.
He is currently in hospital having tests following a massive blood loss yesterday. He has had a blood transfusion and oxygen.
He has had a number of tests today which have been clear and is due to have another in the morning.
My step-mother has mentioned something called diverticulitis as a possible diagnosis but this isn't a final diagnosis, just a theory at this point. I've googled (I know, I know) and rectal bleeding is a rare symptom of diverticultis.
Has anyone any experience of this and should I be more worried? Step-mother says not to worry and I am trying not to but keep thinking what else it might be.
