Is it possible to shrink your bladder capacity by going to the toilet frequently. I have this thing where I always go before I leave the house and need to urinate a lot with nerves - I do drink alot of water but I wondered if forcing yourself to urinate frequently could reduce your bladder capacity and ability to retain urine?

You should only pass urine when you feel the need, something to do with the T zone & receptors on the lining of the bladder. You can improve the tone of your bladder by voiding 2 hrly and gradually building the time up.

You can't shrink your bladder capacity, but you can certainly do the opposite and desensitise yourself of the urge to void and 'overstretch' your bladder.
