Warts on torso....any magic cures?

My mum (61) has over the last year or so developed warts on her torso and on her back.
She went the her GP and he said he couldn't do anything as it was to do with her age.
In fact he was quite rude and dismissive.
Is there anything available that can get rid of these-without freezing them at home?
Did i read on MN that Elizabeth Ardens cream helped get rid?
Poor mum,she feels so self aware of them and they are rubbing on her clothes and bra making her uncomfortable.

i have these and my gp has said while they are harmless, at some stage they can take them off as they bug me, they are right on my bra strap on my back. my mum had a couple too and had them taken off. ask for another gp to have a look.and as wts says, try and get a nice GP!
good luck to your mum.
