A friend of my sister's apparently got rid of her fibroids with acupuncture and Chinese medicine. Unfortunately the practioner she used has left Oxford (where the treatment happened) and gone to Bristol but she hasn't got her contact number. So I am left none the wiser about how to find out more about this unless I ask here or Google it. Has anyone heard of this or experienced a similar thing? I am very keen to get rid of or reduce a huge fibroid (400 ml) before ttc again after a recent m/c. This seems to me a benign and fairly quick option so I'm very interested to know if it works. I have no idea how to go about contacting Chinese health practitioners in my area (Rugby) either so advice on that would be useful.
