My dd (nearly 2 ) has bad cradle crap so I was advised to put olive oil on it but now her hair is really greasy, any suggestions?

I combed it with a fine comb to remove the flakes and I've washed it twice but it's still very oily
She's going to nursery tomorrow and I don't want her looking like I hven't washed her hair for weeks
Any suggestions?

She said it would cause a problem with her fringe.

When I oil dd's scalp, it takes 2 to 3 washes to get it out. Just wash it again. I use Coconut oil (solid in a tub) from Holland and Barrett.

H&S is strange stuff, removes all sorts of dry flakey skin not just dandruff. Got really badly burnt on holiday once. L on ayer after layer of skin peeled, looked like I had dandruff from head to two and nothing shifted the flaky skin until a pharmasist (excuse spelling) told me to put a few drops of h&s on a flannel and use it like soap. Within two days, all the dead skin was gone.

At 5 your LO's skin can probably tolerate it too.

What's bio oil?

Dd has cradel cap quite badly, but she will not sit still for long enough to comb it out.

I just don't fancy olive oil somehow....

I did the shampoo on dry hair with Johnsons Shampoo and after a comuple of washes the greasy look has definitely gone
