I managed to splash myself with hot oil in an incident with a frozen fish finger and a smoking hot frying pan......yes go on you can get the giggles out now.

It actually really hurt and now I have burn spots all over my face and chest....I think it looks like I've got the pox, even DH keeps kissing me and saying aaaah, like he feels really sorry for me, bless him.

Just want to know if there's anything I can put on them to help them heal quicker, its kinda embarrassing.

aloe vera gel? a bag over your head?

JacobsPrincess · 23/08/2008 15:04

I would suggest aloe vera too - excellent on soothing burns.

Or vitamin E cream/oil

thanks for that Loopy....one rather fetching bag has been ordered...or maybe a gimp mask might do the trick?.....will get some aloe vera and vitamin E to use in the meantime. God I look awful, so frigging !
