Question about the coil? Poss TMI

I can't feel any threads - is this normal?

I haven't been to any check ups (have posted another thread about the reasons why).

I had a look (by squatting over a mirror) and can't see anything. Is it the cervix that you can see when you do this? Should I be able to see the threads coming out of this?

When i had a coil the string was always a bit long, and it used to wrap itself around my cervix which meant i couldnt feel it at all even to check it. It was definitely still there because i saw it when they took it out

Ok - am psyching myself up to have it removed so fingers crossed its there!
