Hi My DD has never had a problem with her teeth. She has her first two adult teeth at the front fine. We went to the dentist last week and he showed me that a back adult tooth has come through with no enamel on it. It is a light brown colour. He said it was probably because she was ill as a baby.

Does anyone else have experience of this? What do we need to be aware of? Will all her back teeth look like this?

No direct experience sorry but just to let you know it must be fairly common as two children in DD's class have this problem - they are both 6 years old otherwise fit and healthy. One of them just has the bottom affected and not the top ones.

Thanks Dbbie - Anyone else? Can I expect her to need dental treatment younger than she would otherwise?
