calpol and neurofen

I know this has been done before but I have yet another question. My ds has a throat infection, he's 2. He's had 4 doses of calpol throughout the day, can I give him a couple of doses of neurofen throughout the night if needed- which I expect he will :-(

thats fine, you can combine the 2 if needed.

hope your ds is better tomorrow.

Just remember to leave 6-8 hrs between doses of Neurofen.

thank you I thought I could but didn't want to just guess. I have alternated the two during the day before but never given calpol during day and neurofen at night, if that makes sense.

6 - 8 hours. Ok thanks. He had calpol at 7 so I will give him neurofen no earlier than midnight then that should hopefully do him till the morning. Poor little thing is so tired but just can't sleep because of the pain.
