Shown on TV last night:

I'd like you to watch the most important two minutes you'll ever see - 'Watch your own heart attack'.
Take the time to watch it - then you'll be prepared if and when it happens for real.
Watching this film could help save the life you love: go to www.bhf.org.uk/2minutes

I wish they hadn't just focused on chest pain - not everyone gets it! I know of someone, I didn't treat them, but know who did, who only had pain in his leg. Even those treating him didn't know what it was, it's now part of our training! Fortunately he was taken straight to hospital as they didn't know what it was.

My dad died at the age of 52 from a heart attack. He didn't think he was that unwell and didn't want to make a fuss by calling out an ambulance

Glad I watched the film, but did upset me rather a lot.

However, I thought the female symptoms of heart attack were quite different to a man and for that reason it was often missed?
