Flameboy has the pox.

I am meant to be seeing a mate's newborn later in the week (without DS) - will I be carrying a virus?

If you have had chicken pox, you can't carry it or transmit it, iirc, so you should be fine. Just make sure you've washed your hands since touching Flameboy.

If they're bf and have had it, as well, then the baby probably wouldn't get it anyway.

Hurrah!

DH will have to stay home - he hasn't had it , but I can snuggle to my heart's content

Yes - I had to check when I worked with a pregnant lady who hadn't had it, and DS had it. Bit scary!
