For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

berolina · 08/08/2008 23:27

hello TooT . have emailed you

am just off to bed.

Franny, I am for Blythe, 2nd pref Rowan.

ds2 slept for over 2h in the sling this afternoon and I got work done . Also made carrot and orange cake. ds1 went blackberrying with his new friend, SIL's dd, + her mother and dh.

I am having my mane chopped tomorrow. I love my curls, much against the current trend, but they are entirely impractical. ds1 pulls them while bf and ds2 pulls them whenever he can. I am fed up of wearing a ponytail. So off the hair comes.

berolina · 08/08/2008 23:27

happy birthday wombling

TooTicky · 08/08/2008 23:28

Good luck Bero....hope your haircut is better than mine!!!

Osmosis, I like your pictures. Your DH is quite lovely looking, isn't he?

Hace skimmed thread. Hope people are ok. Might change back to UR tomorrow. This doesn't feel like me.

Guadalupe · 09/08/2008 06:06

Hello, hope you had good holidays, Toot and FK.

We are just off. God, I am tired, I couldn't sleep before 2am and now I am up. The weather in Cornwall looks atrocious. Hooray.

Bye, have a good week.

littlerach · 09/08/2008 08:19

Have a lovely time Mrs C.

TooTicky, where is the fete please?
WE were going to Swanage but bad forecast. Considering boat trip now.

It is Dd2's birthday so we must do somehting I think.

She loved her tent and sleeping bag

have a nice time Guad.

ds2 teething (I think - ds1 didn't teethe, the teeth just appeared) - hot and unhappy in night. Attempts to bf him back to sleep generally ended in being bitten . He does not like Calpol.

Hello
Hope the holidayers have a great time

We are busy rearranging our house. DH put some new shelving units together last night to put all dd's stuff on that's cluttering up downstairs. We have dismantled an old computer desk and put it in the shed. I may now have a useable dining room to eat my f&v in

Happy birthday Wombling

I think Blythe scans best with ds2's first name Fran.

LittleRach, it is on the Lye Field on the main road through Seend. If the children want to dress up come for 12.15 - will explain where to meet if so.
If not. it starts at 1 and there are signs telling you where you can park.

TooTicky · 09/08/2008 10:46

Is that all decided then Franny, or does dp get a say?

TooTicky · 09/08/2008 10:47
