For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

We had our home grown runner beans and they were not so good. They were all pulpy and fibrous and chewy and pithy you had to quietly remove all this green string from your mouth after a lot of fevered chewing. I think we picked them too late.

Flood receded, leaving a lot of wet shoes. I put them all outside to dry, and while I was out it rained on them all, so I brought them in again and they're all wet and soggy. I think there's a crack in the wall, the rain didn't just come in at ground level, the whole wall was soaked. This house is falling apart.

Boco · 12/08/2008 21:09

What? What's happening, why you listing clothes? Has it changed, do we not list veg anymore?

fishie · 12/08/2008 21:11

yes tooticky, it is lovely. about one third beetroot two thirds chickpeas, not much need for oil either and a lot less salt than usual. it is the most beautiful colour.

OsmosisBanana · 12/08/2008 21:13

have run out of steam now. the pile is annoyingly small. My wardrobe is still full of stuff.

Oh well.

Maybe time to test the summer pudding.

OsmosisBanana · 12/08/2008 21:15

lol Boco! Trying to get rid of some clothes that I have been pretending I might wear again but clearly never will. Obviously I have horrific taste! To thr chazza shop it is.

pinkspottywellies · 12/08/2008 21:18

The black and white oasis dress - is it strapless?

TooTicky · 12/08/2008 21:21

No no OB, let me read before you get rid of things.

Boco, am sending healing vibes to your wall and warm, dry vibes to the shoes.

Fishie, I can't imagine what that tastes like. Did you make it yourself?
I make broad bean houmus, which is delish.

FrannyandZooey · 12/08/2008 21:21

shit I don't reckon I will fit any of those clothes this year OB
or in fact this decade at this rate

TooT no she kept bottling it

avi god knows, she goes incommunicado for months
I really miss her, on here and in RL

OsmosisBanana · 12/08/2008 21:23

No - can't do strapless. short quite floaty / sticky-outy sleeves.

I wore it quite a lot when I'd just had DD, quite forgiving on the baby belly. Good for easy nork release too!

OsmosisBanana · 12/08/2008 21:24

why do you think I'm getting rid Fran??

TooTicky · 12/08/2008 21:24

I have been nearly meeting her for about a year

FrannyandZooey · 12/08/2008 21:26

TooT I am no longer fooled by her near misses
she is a meet up wuss
she did meet NLNN though but I think it must have been an accident

yy easy to make, it is slightly sweet and good with wholemeal pitta. what is in the broad bean one, do you have to skin the blighters first?

pinkspottywellies · 12/08/2008 21:31

OsBa I can't do strapless either - I like the sound of that one. How much do you want inc postage - or shall I wait and see if there's more I would like first?!

Ooh if we're doing buying/selling do I have to start calling you hum?!

pinkspottywellies · 12/08/2008 21:32

What shall I eat? I'm thinking cornflakes...

SuperBunnyisUnderRated · 12/08/2008 21:38

DO British Cornflakes contain high fructose corn syrup? I was bored at work last night and read the ingredients - I was quite surprised. And in Raisin Bran too.

OsmosisBanana · 12/08/2008 21:44

you can have it. will post then you can paypal me the pp or whatever. It has small paint splogde but will come off once I've weaved some magic.

I don't want money for stuff, just space. I need lebensraum as a very famous German once said. Maybe I won't invade Gloucestershire just yet though

pinkspottywellies · 12/08/2008 21:51

Thanks OsBa

UR mine don't have corn syrup but first 4 ingredients are Maize, sugar, salt, dextrose. I found raisin bran really ott sweet when I was over your way.

littlerach · 12/08/2008 21:52

OSBA, what size is th epink and green skirt?

Hun

SuperBunnyisUnderRated · 12/08/2008 21:54

I thought they probably didn't, PSW. I think lots of things are made differently (i.e. with worse cheaper ingredients) over here.

BBBee · 12/08/2008 21:55

pink - you should have cornflakes and some org=ange juice to help you observe the iron.

i like the capers and mint thing fishie. more detila pleasse.

jeans
black top
blue raincoat
red pants
dps socks
horrid but comfy bra
red zip up top (from gap but stolen from friend;s son)
very old campers

so that is my 10 I think.

BBBee · 12/08/2008 21:56

absorb the iron not observe the iron.

OsmosisBanana · 12/08/2008 21:56

the monsoon jobber? it says 10, but it's a generous 10.

littlerach · 12/08/2008 21:58

If you still have it when I come back form france, would be happy ot take it off your hands

But if someone else wants it please give to them.

Have a stupid post box on wall here, not letterbox, so wouldn't fit through while we're away.
