For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

I've got my God-daughters christening today [proud] I'm really pleased with the present I've got her. Very pretty but not babyish jewellery box and a silver cross. Coleslaw is half made - just need to go and get elbow deep in mayo but everything is cut. Of course I would have made homemade mayo but can't have the raw eggs

Not eating very well at all at the minute. Franny can you shout at me boot-camp style and I will try and buck my ideas up.

Sorry Pink, no ideas. My boys chew their nails but that's about all. They also eat their snot
In fact my children once started a loud conversation on the bus about the various merits of snot, earwax and something else which I seem to have blanked out
Would distraction work? Every time you see her chewing, give her a rice cake/wooden teether/pencil and paper?

Survived soft play. Children exhausted.
There was a pair of socks on the floor in the toilets and dd2 said, in shocked tones, "Somebody has left a pair of socks. What RUDE people!!!"

Yes where has everyone been all day? Poor TooT has been on her own. I excused myself before I went off for the day!

Coleslaw was shite. Never mind I think I got a portion of cabbage and carrot out of it. This morning I had oj and raisins, prunes and dried apricots.

Sorry it rained while camping, BBBee.

I could do camping but only in 25 degree plus dry weather. I don;t mind not being clean for a day or two but I do mind rain.

Dried fruit, apple, salad leaves, hoummous, cucumber, pepper, runner beans, courgettes, strawbs, raspberries, lemon curd

I have an aubergine on one of my plants!!!

Probably scraped about 6 or 7 portions today in a fairly dull steamed vegetable and salad styleee.

We have rearranged the dining room and moved dd's toys out of the living room - instead of being all piled up everywhere they are artfully arranged on a shelf where she can get to them easily and we spent the morning doing puzzles that we had forgotten she had

I think I may have to get some moomin stories for dd

Hello. Am going to be the pathetic ill one on the thread again. Inlaws still here and spent the afternoon in bed with either a migraine or something to do with the abs i'm taking for a UTI. Vile combination of cystitis and not being able to move my head because my neck hurts and nothing is making it hurt less. Moan moan moan weeep. Fil has such a LOUD laugh.
