Does anyone know what would happen if I started taking the Pill (Dianette) at the end of my period?

Doctor advised waiting till the beginning of my next period, but I really want to start sooner (skin is spotty atm, and I want it to clear up).

You cannot rely on it for contraception if you do that for the first month as you might have ovulated during your period.

If you are prepared to used a barrier contraception as suggested on the 'missed pill' section of the pill leaflet, you would be OK

you would have to take extra precautions for 7 days if you were relying on it for contraception

Not bothered about contraception tbh.

Am I more likely to get break-through bleeding, do you think?
