NHS appointment for DS.

DS was referred to ENT 2 weeks ago by GP, due to very nasal speech, constant green/yellow snot, exclusive mouth breathing and niosy breathing and loud snoring.

We have a consultant appointment for tomorrow, isn't this super quick for the NHS? Should I be worried that they it is serious?

Also if anyone has any experience with this, what is the appointment likely to entail.

the NHS isn't always as bad as it's reputation, particularly for the press-friendly area of paediatrics! IME this is about right for a routine appointment in the sumemr holidays when there are lots of cancellations and people don't want to book appointments. the symptoms aren't too concerning either so don't worry. Hope the appointment goes well.

Its summer. Loads of people cancel appointments at short notice because they are off on holiday.

Doesn't sounds like anything ghastly to me.
