i'm due to go away for a few days in 2 weeks time and its exactley when my period is due,i was reading about a drug you can get prescribed to delay your period. I was just wondering if anyone had any experience of it and if the doctor is likely to prescribe it to me or not!thankyou

Yes, I took something to prevent my period starting on the day I was getting married. You take it for a few days before you're due and then up until you're ready (if that's teh right word) to have your period. No problem with GP prescribing it - when the period eventually happened it was much heavier than normal, though.
