He's nearly 3.

School holidays are going well so far.

what does it say on the bottle?
Think I'd be washing his mouth out and dashing him to GP

DaphneMoon · 25/07/2008 15:20

Well it gives a new meaning to washing your mouth out with soap! I would just make him gargle with lots of water and keep spitting it out. I'm sure he will be fine. Pehaps if he brushes his teeth it might help too. Crikey and 6 weeks to go too!!

StealthPolarBear · 25/07/2008 15:20

Sorrry if that's an overreaction, I genuinely have no idea

StealthPolarBear · 25/07/2008 15:22

just read mine, says avoid breathing spray and if it gets into eyes wash well
so just washing sounds like it'll be OK

Twiglett · 25/07/2008 15:23

I would read the package and follow the guidelines for ingesting which probably, although not certain, involve seeking immediate medical attention which involves a trip to A&E

I have done this with DS and antifreeze

maretta · 25/07/2008 15:25

He seems fine. There's nothing on the bottle about drinking - just eyes.

I'll just keep flushing him through with water. It was only one squirt.

So far today I have also unblocked a toilet and cleaned poo off a sofa. It is a good day.

Ring NHS Direct and ask for advice. They will have a list of poisons and toxic substances, and will be able to tell you what the correct course of action is.

madcol · 25/07/2008 15:33

i would give him a mouth rinse with water and then milk to drink.

well my dog ingests antibacterial spray all the time and she is fine and healthy!

but before anyone calls the rspca she is not encouraged to eat cleaning produce she has a fetish about sprays and constantly trys to attack the bottles while im spraying things. i do try to keep her out of the way while im cleaning but she is small and fast and i dont always see her.

we dont use cif though we use dettol which is okay to use around food/in fridges etc i dont know if cif is?
