Has anyone had 14 days IV Anit-biotics?

If so what for & how did it affect you?

DH is off to hospital tomorrow & a bit scared

Thats the first hurdle sorted,now to get him sorted! Good luck and keep us postedxx

He is having IV aminophylline, oral prednisilone & A-B (haven't worked out which yet)

I get to learn about doing the A-B tomorrow

I have spent a fortune in petrol

Well DH & I learnt to give him IV antibiotics today

Still no real news on when he is coming home

We are home

We have half a tonne of medication, an enormous sharps bucket and a slightly nervous DH

& they haven't sent enough stuff - bugger

Enough for the weekend?

Yes - just half a dozen things missing - I wonder if the GP will have them - I will ring & see

Hope you can get what you need. Far better to be at home!
