Sorry TMI! I wet myself without any warning mostly when out with the dog which is very inconvenient to say the least Keep forgetting to do exercises and sticking head in the sand hoping it will get better all by itself, doh!

me too. can't run, can't be bothered to do anything about it.

can i suggest you may have overactive bladder, rather than a weak pelvic floor? Are you wetting whilst running or just wetting cos you are caught short outside?

Do go to your GP- you could be helped with PF exercises and even physio- they can use electrodes to get it all working again.

You might also need to see a specialist gynae, but 6 months of Kegels is the first thing to try- 50 a day.

six months! SIX months! Blardy Hell! So, there is hope for a dry christmas!!!
that's 1
that's 2

If I do 100 a day can I just do 3 months?

I was prescribed Vesicare for an over active bladder, but I'm going for the op in the next few weeks. Exercises did nothing for me.

You are right that drugs can treat an over active bladder, but it won't stop stress incontinence- the OP needs to find out what it is she has as treatments is different.

50 a day- that's 5 lots of 10- or 10 lots of five- someone once suggested every time you have a drink, or on the hour.

You can buy toning "devices" of various types/prices - I don't know how well they work though.
