Smear test

Four months ago I went for a smear test, but a few weeks later I received a letter saying that "there was not enough material present on the slide for the laboratory to make a reliable report". I was a bit peed off, but these things happen so I made another appointment (was advised to wait 3 months before the next appointment) which was for the beginning of June. Today I received ANOTHER letter saying the exact same thing about the SECOND smear test.
WTF is going on???? The nurse I saw is supposed to be the specialist for this procedure. Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone know if it could be indicative of anything untoward? Am slightly worried, but very .

Yes this happened to me, was all fine. Its just one of those things, it does happen a lot, i think people just don't talk about it, I think I got three in a row!!!

it's not indicative of anything untoward.
they would let you know directly if there was anything abnormal.
same happened to me once, and i worried just the same.
annoying though.

Thank you for your replies. Did you go back to the same person who performed the previous tests? Am a bit that the so called specialist could mess it up twice!

i don't remember if it was the same person.
i also don't know if it's a sign of it being messed up or if it's just one of those things.
you could call the practise and ask them i suppose.
