Question about post natal depression

Can you get PND 19 months after baby is born or start feeling the affects of it?
Or would it be 'normal' depression, or maybe just general feeling like shit.

YES, you most definately can, I did. My PND wasn't diagnosed until DD was 2! To be honest though, i don't think it really matters what label you give it. If you feel bad go off and speak to your doctors who will advise you over what treatment you might need, by treatment i mean anything from "self help" through counselling or medication. If i am totally honest i think i was/am suffering from a generalised depression and anxiety as i had things going on before DD, but definately lost the plot post baby.

Thanks for that. I have been depressed before and its nothing like as bad as that, but someone said it is PND and I was a bit taken aback.
