I am a huge fan of osteopathy. Had ds seen at 6 weeks because he was very unsettled, couldnt be put down, made strange grunting noises in sleep, almost like he was in pain. It did the trick. Also had dd seen for fluid in ears, and I have had it for migraine. All very successful.

It is remarkable to see, and they hardly move the child at all. i didnt take dd as baby (despite loads of advice to) aas thought they would bend her about, but its not like that, really small gentle movements. Very relaxing. Its worth a go, and if you can get a good one, they should tell you whether they think they can help or not.

I've just started taking my baby to an osteopath and although I was sceptical, (it really doesn't seem as if they do much) it has worked. Don't know how though!!

brilliant people, took ds when he was 18 weeks and after 4 sessions was totally different and very settled and happy baby. They treat a number of things, it is best to pop into your local place and have a chat!!

fantastic! would totally recommend it.
I went for migraines and didn't have one for over 2 years after I had been!
What area are you in? because there are 2 fab osteopaths that I know of in this area

amynnixmum · 03/02/2005 15:45

I did this with dd. She cired a lot and always laid in the same strange position. A friend recommended cranial osteopathy as there is a training unit locally. Had 4 sessions and dd was much better. Less crying and more movement. The training unit treated under 3's for free.

Churchdown osteopaths in churchdown, gloucs.Probably about half an hour from Bristol, depending on where you are. Just off jct 11a or 13a( can't remember). marvellous child friendly practise. Big Q to see the head man Clive, his wife Elizabeth also practises along with about 4 others. Almost miraculous change in my 2yo dd(SN). Can't do a link, sorry, but phone no is 01452 714511
