Does anyone have a vague idea what could be wrong?

I've noticed over the past couple of days that the skin on the insides and underneath of all my fingers and thumbs are peeling really badly.

They are not red, sore or inflamed and I've not changed handwash, washing powder or anything.

Does anyone have an idea what it could be?

Have you had any sort of viral illness recently? I had peeling fingers years ago after having 'flu. Sorry can't offer any more help, hopefully someone knowledgeable can advise you

could it be something like contact dermatitis?? mine started literally overnight and comes and goes.

my DD3's hands and fingers peel lots, and always after a virus. tis the body's way of 'purging' the system according to our doctor. not sure personally as it is peculiar to just her (in our family), but it has happened to my others after they had strep throat a couple years back.

tis my only suggestion, sorry, unless you have got excema??
