how long does SPD last?

I had SPD in pregnancy. Now 5 months since birth, and while it's not nearly as bad, it still causes me pain. I (finally!) have an appointment with physio this week. But, to anyone else who's had SPD, how long did it last?

Forever, you're best going to a chriopractor/oestopath.

I suffer up to 18 months post birth, started with physio when I was 18 week pregnant and continue until it was sorted out. It is prolonged due to the fact that your body still produce prolactin (the hormone that softens the ligaments) until you stop breastfeeding. I only really started getting better when I stopped, ds was 8.5 months, so the same amount of time later I was over it. I still get a bit sore if I pick up heavy things without thinking.
