Do children get piles?

DS aged 2.2 has been complaining of a sore bottom and refusing to sit on his wooden booster seat. I've had a quick look and there is a little something there but I'm not an expert in the bottom department.

Anyone know anything?

Will go to chemist / doctor in morning.

Thanks

More likely to be a fissue, I think. Piles protrude, a fissure is just a little tear, easy to happen with constipation.

Alternatively, are you sure it's his anal region that hurts? He could have bruised his tailbone or something?

And fissures can look like there is a little bump there as the skin can runkle up a bit.

"runkle".

That is quite a technical term I think you'll find.

Thanks.

He created a right fuss last night and then did a poo 20 mins later so I think it must be sore. Unless he's scared of pooing and trying to hold it in? No idea. He's never been an easy boy. Can't wait till he can talk a bit more. We spent most of June to-ing and fro-ing to Dr's as he had balinitis so I'm reluctant to go back just yet, just hope it gets better on its own.
