Lactulose and trumps. Does it get better?

Just started taking lactulose on a regular basis and of course now am constantly trumping (which my 3 yrs old finds hilarious ).

Does it lessen after a while on the lactulose or will I always have loads of wind when taking it?

trump, lol!
Lactulose made me fart like billyo, but I only took it short term. Sorry can't be of more help.

Was given it as a precaution after birth of DS1 and they really gave me too much. Remember being in hospital, semi-delirious with lack of sleep, rousing myself enough to feed DS as required, each time thinking what is that terrible smell? Then realised eventually it was me . I can only presume that my fellow mums on the ward had had to listen to my parps as I slept. It's terrible stuff. I got onto Fibrogel ASAP.

It will get better eventually once your system gets used to the higher demand of all the indigestable fibre and the bacteria in your intestines rebalance. Or at least one can only hope...
