its a woman who hasn't had a sex change. agree, ridiculous.

Kimi · 04/07/2008 12:37

If he wanted a child why not have one "before" the sex chance?

Going to be very hard to explan to the child that daddy is also Mummy.

Why would they take the baby away? there's no reason to suggest they won't make good parents?

what an odd thing to say.

She's not a male. She hasn't got a penis and testicles, even prosthetic ones. 'He' is still female inside.

LittleMyDancing · 04/07/2008 20:35

I'm not making you out to be anything.

There's nothing strange about not mentioning the father, as far as I can make out it was artificial insemination, they might well have gone to a donor bank so know nothing about the father.

If they were still a lesbian couple and having a child by AI, noone would bat an eyelid. They just happen to be a lesbian couple, who didn't realise that the one they had decided would remain a woman couldn't conceive. And they didn't want a stranger carrying their baby.

and as for the money - well, maybe they think of it as providing for their child?

I'm more offended by $3m for pictures of JLo's twins.

Spidermama · 04/07/2008 20:37

I agree with fio. This has to be the biggest non story of the year.

Load of rubbish, it's a woman who took some male hormones to grow a beard then stopped them to have a baby.
