can't be arsed to go to the drs.
would freezing it with an ice cube then snipping it off with scissors be a bad idea?

just do the tying with a piece of cotton trick - works very effectively

avenanap · 03/07/2008 21:43

It would be a very bad idea as it would bleed and bleed and bleed and bleed and.......

Are they big and where abouts are they?

LaylaandSethsmum · 03/07/2008 21:43

No not at all may bleed a bit though so have some gauze or something handy!

avenanap · 03/07/2008 21:44

Depends on their size as to how much they will bleed.

NigellaTheOriginal · 03/07/2008 21:44

it's under my boob and catches on my underwire. i can't grasp it enough to do the tying thing

dh has one on his cheek which is really putting me off!
How do you do the cotton thing?

MadBadandDangeroustoKnow · 03/07/2008 21:46

I've done that with the very tiny ones - hardly bled at all. Keep everything spotless!

MaryAnnSingleton · 03/07/2008 21:47

tie a piece of cotton very firmly at the bottom of the tag and it will wither and shrivel up in a few days - may look a bit odd on dh's face though !

avenanap · 03/07/2008 21:47

You tie the string (sewing cotton) around as tightly as you can and tie it. It cuts off any blood supply and it drops off. May take a few days though.

Nigella, I'd ask the practice nurse to sort it out.

SlartyBartFast · 03/07/2008 21:48

burn them

ingles2 · 03/07/2008 21:50

he will never go to the drs so I'll give that a go... Thanks

NigellaTheOriginal · 03/07/2008 21:50

can't ask dr or nursey to do it because thatwould mean baring my body and that is not going to happen.
