Audiology appointment today, and her hearing is fine. It appears it was just a case of her not bothering to pick up the toys when it beeped
She is actually slightly hypersensitive in one ear, but he said that shouldn't cause problems (assuming I believe him???)
So, now tis just onto speech therapy to fix her weird speech!
