Composite Bonding

Hi everyone! I have a question. I’m 22 and my teeth currently look like this. I’ve had braces before, but my teeth have become uneven again.
It’s been a big insecurity of mine for years, and I’d really like to get composite bonding or cosmetic dental restoration done. However, I’m not very knowledgeable about the different treatments, so I’d love to hear from anyone who has personal experience.
Which clinic would you recommend, and how much did you pay? I’d really appreciate any advice or recommendations!
I’m based in Birmingham, so Birmingham or nearby areas would be ideal. Thank you! x

Do you think you're in the right category?

I’ve reported this thread and asked MNHQ to move to the health board Flowers

I can’t see a picture yet. However comp bonding isn’t very suitable for making your teeth look straighter again.. you can’t do that without having an super thick layer of composite on your teeth which would look weird and wouldn’t be very stable.

You’re better off considering braces again, whitening can really help boost confidence too. Any good dentist will also recommend sticking to slightly imperfect teeth. They don’t need to be death straight and perfectly even. You’ll end up with turkey teeth which are laughable.

You want Sabrina Carpenter dentistry, not Simon Cowell 🫶

I can’t see any photos. Would it be easier to go for something like Invisalign?

ive got a layer on my second front tooth next to the canine. nobody knows.

it’s been fine, it makes that tooth that tilts in look straight.

it’s been fine for five years but a bit chipped off the other day and i had to get it redone. £30 repair. totally worth it. he didn't need to prep my tooth first either so it’s totally fine underneath not scraped or anything so it can be removed if i ever wanted.

he put the white stuff on, showed me the shape, i approved and he put the light on to harden it and built up layers i think and im sure the light thing beeped a series of beeps more than once.

a cheap way to improve the look of your smile.

That sounds exactly what I’m needing just one tooth slightly back from my otherwise straight teeth so that it then looks dark in pictures. Please can you tell me how much it cost.

Around here, it's about 250 quid per tooth

i cant remember the cost but i do remember it was around the same cost as i pay for medium size fillings. takes the same time and the same amount of product, dental skills etc so i suppose it makes sense.

it also depends on how your teeth meet whether or not it can be done. defo worth looking into. i was told if it keeps falling out or whatever i’d need to get something else instead but i’m glad i tried as it’s been fine.

i smile more now. i didnt realise but i didnt smile with teeth before!

the only negative is that at the top where it joins my gum line i need to brush carefully as it smells stale after a while, like saliva accumulates and isn’t being continually refreshed as it’s a small unmoving area. but that’s easy to do.
