My 18 yr old DD has had pain behind right breast , around her ribs at back and felt tightness in airways which has since gone. She has had palpitations and last week doctor said all okay . After spending 5 hours at ambulatory care yesterday she discharged herself so even though ecg okay, not got blood tests and idk if she has to now go through msssive laborious task of testing everything again - her results had came back inconclusive. The doctor had mentioned crackling chest but this was after she insisted on stephascope. They'd not gotten around to give X-ray results.

She has endometriosis and a little neurodivergence and a history of suspected POTTs but no diagnosis .There's family history of heart attacks . She has slightly high colestrol , about 2 stone overweight. If she never contacted G.P, would the hospital have sent results to them? Please help as I'm trying to not pass on anxiety to her but sick with worry x

Maybe costochondritis?
Costochondritis is the inflammation of the cartilage that connects your ribs to your breastbone (sternum).

When my daughter in law had it she said the pain felt like it was behind her breast

I’ve been to A&E twice for chest pains and after the second visit they concluded that this was what it was. It was over 10 years ago now, I still get pain there occasionally but they thoroughly investigated (echo, 7 day monitor) at the time and I get no other symptoms.

Could be gallbladder related this is known to cause radiating pain on that side into back and be very painful enough to affect breathing
