Any dermatologists? Panicking

I have an appt at the gp but still 10 days away. I think this started as a blemish, can’t remember now, a few weeks ago. It’s on my temple. I noticed yesterday it’s a bit odd- has a alightf
indent, feels a bit delicate with a slight lump. Have fallen down Google hole and terrified as solo carer to kids with ASN and elderly mother.

Have you accidentally scratched yourself at night, or recieved a mosquito/wasp bite while sleeping?
It's difficult to say as your photo is a little blurry and too close to temple
I am no medical expert, but it looks more like a bite than anything sinister. I have had many that look similar. I developed an allergy in my late 20s.
See if some antihistamines and bite cream make a difference?

Edit: just to add, if it is a bite, it's usually totally harmless - it will look and feel red, but with a visible tiny indent, swollen and puffy for a few days, so load on the antibac cream e.g. Savlon to prevent any infection.

That's just my thinking anyway. Keep a close eye and good flat you're seeing your GP. Good luck <3
