Actinic keratosis on nose: freezing privately instead of chemo cream?

Been diagnosed by dermatology with a very small actinic keratosis (benign sun damage) on my nose and discharged to GP and told to use the chemo cream.
It’s only about 1mm big, but I do suspect I have another milder one, also same size but not always visible, on the other side of my nose.
My job involves delivering secondary school assemblies all day long and I’m nervous about an awful reaction.
Has anyone paid privately to have this frozen off, instead of the cream? I’d rather it scab for a week during half term after freezing than potentially weeks on end? Not sure what to do!

Thanks 😀
