Struggling with clexane injections at 32 weeks pregnant - any nurse advice?

I’m currently 32 weeks pregnant, I’ve been on clexane since 7 weeks every day, occasionally had the odd day I can’t get one in even when changing the needle, however the past 5 days I haven’t been able to inject into my stomach it just won’t go in, I’ve obviously now missed more than I should have what can I do? I will try speak to the pharmacist tomorrow to see if they can advise but hoping someone here could also offer some tips if possible. In my last pregnancy I had gestational diabetes and could also inject into my thighs, is it the same for clexane? When I was prescribed my consultant said stomach didn’t give other options

I think the important thing is to ensure you inject into fatty tissue and not muscle. Are you pinching a good wodge of skin and having no luck getting needle in? Can you try around your hip area?

Not a nurse but was given these after pregnancy. The midwife in hospital always did it in my thighs (alternate) so I continued that at home. Didn’t even know it was supposed to be into stomach until DH read the leaflet.

Yes I’m doing it exactly the same as I always have done, pinch the fat and inject, it just won’t go in, I even opened a completely different box as thought maybe I got a blunt box but still no luck, it just won’t go in no matter how many times I try. I haven’t tried the hip, I thought it was stomach only, I can give it a try and see if that works

When I was on Clexane (last in 2018) I was told to pinch some fat to inject, but abdomen wasn't specified. I injected my thighs too.
