Persistent fatigue after pregnancy/ICP

I'm after others that can relate. I've been struggling for the last year with fatigue since late pregnancy complicated with icp and possibly hellp

It started last August when I was pregnant with my second. I developed obstetric Cholestasis at 32 weeks and my liver function tests became significantly deranged. The fatigue started about 2 weeks later and I was hospitalised for tests at 35 weeks. The bloods showed the raised liver function tests and bile acids and my DDimer came back raised but they said that wasn't unusual in pregnancy. I was put on blood thinners whilst they investigated but the x-ray and scan they requested came back clear. They kept monitoring me with blood tests every 2-5 days and at 36 weeks I developed low platelets and haemolysis and my OB was starting to wonder about hellp. At this point I couldn't stay awake and couldn't be left alone with my daughter and had to stop driving. A few days later my OB decided it was best to induce me and hope that whatever was going on was related to the pregnancy and once baby was delivered my body could recover. I had a sweep at 36+6, induced the next day and baby arrived at 37+1.

My fatigue improved somewhat and i could start to stay awake and I gradually was able to move from 4 or 5 naps a day to 1 or 2. I had regular blood tests in the few weeks after birth which showed that the haemolysis had resolved, my bile acids and platelets returned to normal but my liver tests stayed a raised but less significantly. My urates came back raised for a few weeks but then recovered, then raised calcium which then recovered but i had raised phosphates. My ferritin levels have dropped since I have birth, they were at 80 last October but dropped to 30 in March despite taking otc iron supplements. My GP then prescribed me iron supplements and in August my ferritin had increased to 50 my transferrin has been abnormally low since March.

My fatigue is still horrendous, I'm having to nap everyday some times 2 or 3 times if I'm doing anything remotely active, I can't return to work. My partner is doing everything in the house. I had my first appointment with endocrinology a couple of weeks ago and they want to repeat all the blood tests again. Since my ferritin dropped the drs have all jumped on that as the cause but I'm not convinced. My thyroid is borderline low too but my b12 and folate are good.
