anyone any experience doc thought i had an eptopic pregnancy had blood in the urine did blood tests confirmed not pregnancy, but have had terribe pains across stomach, side and lower back

also am extremely swollen, doc gave me volatarol and i had to go back to out of hours yesterday they gave me kaypak for pain

any advice would be great

i haven't but DH has had three attacks, the last one in Jan this year whilst skiing.

He says it is v v painful and belive me he has a v high pain threshold. In most cases you can pass the stone and the pain stops immediately he says. Unfortunately he was unable to pass it as too big it was 9mm.

He was sick a lot and just bad tempered with everyone to be expected. I think it lasted for about a week.

i am going to go back to doc anyway to get checked out did they do xrays or anything on ur hubby?

Yes he has had plenty of x rays, in fact one last Friday which shows he still has plenty of stones in his kidneys. But consultant said not worry, they might not move, he told hubby to drink plenty of cheap lemonade and water.

He has had them blasted by laser but it didn't work so had surgery to shatter them, then you pass them. Hubby says it was like pissing razor blades (sorry), but fine after a couple of days.
