Tingling on face

For about the last 4-5 months I’ve been experiencing what I can only describe as a tingling feeling on my face. It’s around the right side of my nose, particularly the ‘flare’ of my nostrils.

I got myself into a panic about possible MS but I don’t have any other symptoms and I’m at the older end for likely diagnosis (almost 60).

I’ve changed my skincare regime and had a recent full blood count test for something else which was normal. Also tested for ferritin which as 40 - normal by NHS standards but possibly slightly low?

I’m not sure I’d this is worth mentioning to the GP or if I should get some further advice re supplements for example.

has anyone else experienced this? I’d say I’m through the worst of the menopause although still prone to ‘running hot’. Thank you.

I get this but it feels like a hair. I tend to be a fairly anxious person and suffer from nerve issues as well (nerve pain not nerves relating to anxiety) so if either of those apply to you then maybe that's why.

@HangryBrickShark I haven't experienced other nerve issues and I'm probably less stressed now that I have been for years so I can't really make that connection. I've just spotted that someone else has posted this afternoon with similar symptoms and there is some suggestion around B12 deficiency. I already take B12 supplements so maybe they aren't strong enough.
