Has anyone had dental implants in Kent recently? What did you pay?

I’m considering getting a dental implant in Kent for a missing tooth and trying to understand the typical cost. I’ve seen quite a wide range of prices online, which has made it difficult to work out what’s reasonable. For those who’ve had an implant, roughly how much did you pay, and did the price include the consultation, implant, abutment and crown? Were there any additional costs for things like scans, bone grafting or extractions?
I’d also be interested to hear whether you felt the treatment was worth the cost and if there’s anything you’d recommend checking before choosing a dentist.

Dental implant prices in Kent can vary quite a bit because the total cost depends on what is actually included in the treatment.
For a single implant, I’d recommend checking whether the quoted price covers the consultation, CBCT/X-rays, implant placement, abutment and final crown, rather than comparing the headline implant price alone. Additional treatment such as an extraction or bone graft can increase the total.
Before choosing a dentist, I’d ask for a written treatment plan and itemised quote, and check the dentist’s implant experience, what implant system they use, what is included in aftercare, and whether there are any potential additional costs.
It’s also worth having a proper assessment first, as the right treatment and cost can only really be determined after examining the tooth, gums and available bone.

I've just been quoted £2,900 all in - East Sussex/Kent border

Hi, great questions, and a wide range really is confusing.
We're ImplantClarity. We're not a clinic and no clinic owns us. We help patients understand implant quotes, from one tooth to a full set, so they can choose with confidence.
For one back tooth in a straightforward case, UK patients typically report £2,000 to £3,075 (36 reports). That's the whole price people reported for the tooth, not a clinic's "from" price. Front teeth tend to cost a little more, and an extraction or bone graft can add to it. We're still gathering Kent and Sussex prices, so local ones are really welcome.
A good quote lists everything: scan, implant, abutment and crown. When you have yours, we'd be glad to go through it with you here. Just hide the clinic name.
@leli thank you, that's really helpful! Was it for a front or back tooth, and did it cover the crown too?

A couple of answers here from AI I think. You can pay up to £3000. I paid a bit at each stage, not the lump sum. That included a couple of check ups afterwards. I know a couple of people who paid less but had trouble with the procedure.

I went to All Smiles in Bromley. I had quite a few at once so I paid a lot. It’s so confusing but I went for them because they specialise in very nervous patients and they were incredible. It’s now two years on and I’m so pleased I had them done.

Thank you for sharing. Up to £3,000 for one implant matches what we see from other UK patients. Check-ups included afterwards is a useful detail for anyone comparing quotes. And you're right that price isn't everything, the dentist's experience matters just as much.

Mine was £4500 earlier this year but it was a rather large back tooth! Includes after care check ups for two years.
