I am completely shattered after last episode of back pain

is this normal?
It was severe, but I am now on the mend. It lasted about 10 days before I had treatment to help. When I've had pain before I haven't felt this way.
I am much better now, but so washed out, like after flu.

Is this fairly usual? I am worried.

My Mum has chronic back pain and her chiropractor has told her that continual pain is very draining on your body and mind,. There has been times when she is just exhausted from coping with the pain. As a fellow sufferer you have my sympathy .

Thanks coco.
I'm glad to say my back pain is 'fixable'. I am getting better, but it was awful.
I suppose in the past I haven't had to mind a toddler at the same time!

If you're interested in taking anything, I can recommend Pharmaton tablets to help perk you up. Glad to hear you're on the mend

Ah, yes.
I know the one you mean.
Anyone else experienced this at all?

Oh , I,ve got bloody awful back problems.

Am into 4th week of shite back pain. Had 2 weeks off work, but not a lot of improvement despite 5 physio sessions.

Am totally worn down by being in constant pain. It is so crap

nickytwotimes · 30/06/2008 19:18

Yes, fizz, it is depressing, isn't it.

Dh says I should stop thinking about it - he's never had back pain!

Ha ha ha ha. He needs to be given some back pain with a comment like that!

I don't think about it by choice, I wake up in the morning and it is the first thing I feel. I'm sure you're the same

nickytwotimes · 30/06/2008 19:32

Exactly!
I am trying not to fixate on it, but it is very hard as unlike a sore arm you can't just strap it up and rest it.

I have a 23mo dd as well. She is probably the cause of my back problem
