For the last couple of months I've been getting a weird pressure sensation under my right rib, particularly when I bend over or sit down. It's not painful, it feels just like a baby kicking, or sort of like a small ball or something is wedged there? It's not constant - happens for a couple of days then nothing, then again a few weeks later.
I'm 47, perimeno and have a big 10cm fibroid. I've had a rough year and put on nearly a stone in weight and my diet has been pretty rubbish due to stress.
At first I thought maybe the fibroid was pushing into stuff, but that's on the left not the right. And then I wondered if it was just extra fat rolls getting in the way, but I'm 5'9" and 11 stone so while I'm heavier than I'm used to, I'm still a normal BMI/not obese.
Google suggests if it's gallbladder I'd be in a fair amount of pain, but I'm really not. The pressure is uncomfy/annoying but nothing more.
I've got a GPs appt in a couple of weeks to discuss, but want to be prepared - has anyone had similar symptoms with gallstones where it's more pressure than pain?
